CCA Skidaway will host its 19th Annual Banquet and Auction on April 19 at the Plantation Club Ballroom. If you did not receive an invitation in the mail and would like to attend, contact Bill Schwickrath at 598-5320 to make your reservations. Tickets are $175 per couple and $90 for singles. The ticket includes a tasty antipasti bar, buffet dinner and a $35 annual CCA membership. Several cash bars will be available. Tickets for the banquet go fast, so call now; tables of ten are welcome. There is no better way to spend an evening, entertain your friends and support the conservation of our coastal natural resources.

This year’s Silent Auction will be fully electronic via your smartphone, or smart device, using the BidPal process.  Once registered, you will receive a text message with your personal link into the auction to bid.  The manual bid process will no longer be used so bidding and checkout will be streamlined, and you will have more time to enjoy the evening. All purchases will be brought directly to your table Registering in advance will allow check-in to go quickly, so you can get right to the festivities, and also gain the opportunity to scope out the auction items ahead of the banquet and plan your bidding strategy.

This year’s Live Auction will include several new items. John Atkins will be our auctioneer. John always keeps the audience entertained with his auction antics.

The 50/50 Cash Raffle will also be a hot item. Raffle tickets are one for $10, 3 for $25, and 15 for $100. You do not have to be present to win.

Proceeds from the Banquet support CCA Georgia’s efforts to protect the present and future availability of marine animal and plant life and other coastal resources for the benefit of all citizens. For additional information, call Tom Rood 5989753 or Joe Tyson 5988765.
