Diamond Terrapin Turtles

The Diamond Terrapin Rescue Project is bringing live Diamond Terrapin Turtles to show you the hatching and release project.  Come see why they call Skidaway Island home just like you do.

After the nature program the kids and their parents will have an opportunity to fish together from 10:00 to 11:30. Rods, reels, and bait will be provided by the CCA (Coastal Conservation Association). Volunteers from CCA will be available to assist.  The CCA of Skidaway is sponsoring this FREE event for all the Landings children.

Place: CCA Outdoor Education Center located at the Kid’s Fishing Lagoon

Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026

Time: Registration 9:00am

Program: 9:30am to 10:00am

Fishing: 10:00am – 11:30am

Cost: Free (Open to all children in The Landings ages 4 to 13)

Attendance is limited to 35, so please register as soon as possible at ccaskidaway.org.

This event is open to all children and families residing in Landings, as well as their guests. It is suitable for kids aged 4 to 14.
