CCA – May Meeting & Seminar
Inshore saltwater fishing will be the focus of the CCA of Skidaway’s May meeting and seminar to be held on Monday, May 9, at St. Peter’s Church beginning at 7:00 pm.
Captain Stan Allen will be the featured speaker at the CCA’s May meeting. He will talk about inshore fishing techniques for catching redfish and sea trout with artificial baits. Captain Stan will also give an update on the first Finfish Advisory Panel meeting held on April 18 where there was discussion on redfish slot and creel limits.
Captain Stan Allen and his wife Bobbie own and operate Marshland Inshore Fishing Adventures from Chimney Creek at The Crab Shack on Tybee Island. Captain Stan, who has been fishing the Georgia Coast for over thirty years, started the business in 1998. He was appointed to the Finfish Advisory Panel in 2015 to represent this area. Captain Stan and Bobbie spend their spare time traveling from North Carolina to Louisiana fishing professional redfish tours. Their most recent victory came in 2014 in Georgetown, S.C., where they won a Ranger boat at an IFA redfish tour event.
The CCA’s May raffle prize will offer a place on an upcoming fishing trip with Captain Stan.
