The CCA Skidaway’s 23nd Annual Banquet and Auction scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 18th at 6:00 PM, at the Palmetto Clubhouse.
“We are excited,” said banquet chairman, Tom Rood, “to get this much anticipated annual event on the calendar of our loyal supporters and look forward to catching up with old friends and perhaps introducing newcomers to our CCA Skidway Chapter.”
Under the theme of “Cranking It Up,” the banquet committee is inviting anglers as well as everyone interested in the conservation of our coastal marine resources to join us for an evening of great food, fun and excitement. The occasion will feature one of the best “Live Auctions” in the Coastal Empire as well as a Silent Auction with an extensive array of both angling and non-angler items.
Recognizing the steep increase in angling interest on island, your CCA Skidaway Chapter this past year has really been “Cranking it Up” in terms of the number and variety of fishing events, clinics and seminars we are making available to both adult and youth anglers. Our efforts are helping to introduce newcomers to the joys of angling and to build a better understanding of the need for quality marine habitats.
Our fund raising is essential to continue to help the CCA in playing its role as “the voice of the recreational angler” and will support a wide range of CCA Georgia initiatives that further conserve and enhance our coastal resource environment.
We are limiting attendance at this year’s event to the first 250 people, so take a moment now to reserve a seat at a table at our upcoming banquet
