image-20250215080647-1.jpegGreg Freeman, the Landings Association’s  Natural Resource Manager is the featured speaker for CCA Skidaway’s monthly seminar at St. Peter’s Church, 3 W Ridge Road on Monday, March 10th beginning at 7 pm.

Greg is set to deliver an insightful talk on the topic of algae treatment, a subject that is of great relevance to both environmental conservation and community resource management. His presentation promises to delve into the challenges and opportunities associated with algae treatment, offering a comprehensive perspective on how to enhance this vital resource.  Greg's extensive background in wildlife management and environmental policy positions him as an authoritative voice on the subject, and his talk is sure to provide valuable insights for anyone interested in the intersection of ecology and resource management.

Greg's educational journey laid a solid foundation for his career in wildlife management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Newberry College, which provided him with a comprehensive understanding of biological systems and ecology. He furthered his education with a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from Purdue University, equipping him with the knowledge to address complex environmental issues and develop effective management strategies.  In addition to his formal education, Greg has obtained numerous certifications that highlight his commitment to professional development and excellence in his field

Greg joined The Landings Association (TLA) 1½ years ago, bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to the community. He now resides in Pooler, Georgia, with his wife, Denise, and their daughter, Faith. Greg's commitment to wildlife management and conservation continues to positively impact the environments and communities he serves, making him an invaluable asset to any organization he is part of.

CCA raffle prize for this month is a $100.00 gift certificate to a local restaurant.
