SHUCK, SLURP, REPEAT!!
It won't be long before you will be heading to Landings Harbor Picnic area for CCA Skidaway's annual Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin'. This year it is on Sunday, December 15th from 2-4 PM.
What better way to spend a sunny fall afternoon around large tables topped with shucking knives, gloves and condiments, ready to dig into the steaming oysters, clams and crab legs. The succulent flavor of these steamed crabs and mollusks splashing into every dish bringing you the taste of the sea.
The Bar-B-Que tent features mounds of ‘smoked to perfection’ pulled pork accompanied by homemade sides mac & cheese, coleslaw, and Hillari Jones' fabulous baked beans with sausage. You don’t want to miss slicing a piece of the succulent roasted whole pig to complement your meal. Complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks will be available at the Tiki Bar.
What better way to enjoy our beautiful surroundings for an afternoon of eating, drinking, laughing and enjoying the company of friends and neighbors
