The Cast Away Club event will be held on June 29th at the CCA Outdoor Education Center located at the Kid’s Fishing Lagoon adjacent to Log Landing Road and the Oakridge Fire Station.   Check in begins at 9:15 AM and your pre-registration information and name-tags will be available to you at that time.

Skidaway Island Audubon has supported The Dave Scott Bluebird Trail in the Landings since 1997.  It is one of the largest monitored trails in the southeast. The Eastern Bluebirds nest here on Skidaway Island two or three times a year using pine straw and grass to build their nest. You will learn more about the Secret Life of Blue Birds here on Skidaway Island.

The nature program is from 9:30 to about 10:00.  After the session the kids and their parents will have an opportunity to fish together from 10:00 to 11:30. Rods, reels, and bait will be provided by the CCA (Coastal Conserimage-20240616093628-1.pngvation Association). Volunteers from CCA will be available to help.

Cast Away Club events are free.  Donations of $10.00 for a kid’s logoed Cast Away Club hat are always welcomed.
